Women in engineering dinner
/Dev/Color is a non-profit organization which helps Black software engineers grow into industry leaders. Founded in 2015 they have a vision: to build a community of Black software engineers who help one another reach ambitious career goals.
Execution
Pointe. put together a tailored engineering dinner for 30+ Black women software engineers with 10+ years of experience. The dinner was hosted graciously by AirBnb’s Black ERG team and featured the infamous ‘Black Girl Magic’ riesling from The McBride Sisters Winery. The night consisted of a self-serve sit down dinner with light introductions to the /dev/color program. The featured activation was a custom built ‘Black Girl in Flora’ themed photobooth where guests were able to snap both still shots and gifs.
