Airbnb’s refresh & recharge lounge
Airbnb challenged us with activating an interactive and “different” lounge at AfroTech 2018. If you don’t know, AfroTech is a groundbreaking, revolutionary experience for Black techies, startups and entrepreneurs. For 2 days 3000+ of the most innovative and creative Black founders, entrepreneurs, engineers take a 360-degree look at how culture and tech runs the world.
Execution
Pointe Agency curated the ‘Refresh & Recharge’ Lounge, which we should have named the ‘Lit Lounge’. The Lounge was filled with charging stations & extra outlets for guest to step away from the buzz of the conference, charge up & get some work done. We also had refresh stations complete with Shea Moisture lotion, Cocoa Butter vaseline, mints and more. Meena Harris of the Phenomenal Movement stopped in as we released her Phenomenally Black T-shirts which were a hit.
